I hate racism. Which sounds like a really silly thing to say, right? Because racism is hate...
All over the news these days there are people constantly talking about race/racism. This woman Shirley Sherrod is racist. Whether anybody else wants to be honest and agree with me or not. She speculated that a "white" man talked down to her, merely because he was white and she was black. She also speculated that other "white" workers wouldn't work for him either. Either way you put it, she's a racist. But the NAACP seems to be a very racist organiation. They would never admit to that and would probably take great offence, but it's true. It's a group deadicated to colored people... which excludes whites, which to me, is very racist. I have said for years that it's racist and unfair that the black community gets to express their pride in their color and we do not because of slavery YEARS ago? Seriously? It's cool to say "I'm proud to be black", but if I were to say "I'm proud to be white" someone would shoot me. Now, I am sure that's an extreme, but even still.. Why does the black community get a television channel completely dedicated to entertaining blacks ONLY? BET? Where's WET?
You can call me racist for expressing what I just said, but I am not. I am not intollerant, I am only intolerant of unjust, unfair treatment to others... What ever happened to civil rights??? Or was that ONLY for the black community? Double standards and it's getting really friggin old.
Someone needs to tell Obama, and everyone else that seems to think "Race" is a big deal right now, that it's not! Drop it... it doesn't help your votes... it is personally making me want to vote right EVEN MORE.. So this NAACP drama, this Sherrod drama, this Tea Party drama, this Obama Drama.... ALL NEEDS TO STOP... get over yourselves people... seriously. No one really cares except you. It is all you have left to fight with? Is it your last card? Your last attempt to look "better". Give it up...
